Who we are
MAILCA s.r.l. was created in 2001 as a trademark of Nuova CAM s.r.l., which has twenty years of experience in the stainless steel processing on behalf of third parties in the food, pharmaceutical, ceramics and packaging industries. MAILCA s.r.l. designs and builds plants and machines to extract oil by means of mechanic pressing from oleaginous seeds and to produce methyl-esters of vegetal oil and animal fat such as bio-diesel. During the oil extraction, our machines also produce pellets and flours which are used as animal fodder or solid fuels for heating purposes. The vegetal oil produced by our plants and machines may be directly used as human nutrient, fuel to produce electric energy and for diesel motor vehicles, either pure or mixed (30% max.) with mineral gas oil. The pellets and flours produced by our plants and machines are suitable for being used in zootechnics and to generate heat in ad-hoc stoves. The methyl-esters obtained from vegetal oil and animal fat in our plants and machines may be used as raw materials for industrial purposes or, in the majority of cases, used pure or mixed with mineral gas oil as fuels for diesel cycle engines. If the methyl-ester is produced in compliance with the norm EN 14214, it may also be called BIO-DIESEL. To obtain OIL, PELLETS and BIO-DIESEL, lines of machines are used mainly composed of PRESSING and ESTERIFICATION machines. |
